What is Abuse?

The Government has published two guides for young people to explain what abuse is and how to keep children safe. These are based on 'Working Together' and the guides explain how adults and professionals are expected to work together to protect and safeguard children.

Lawstuff Coram Children’s Legal Centre has launched Lawstuff, a website to help children and young people to find out about their rights.

  • If a child or young person is in immediate danger then please dial 999 and ask for police assistance.
